Top-notch musical talent is the centerpiece of the fourth annual Yale MusicFest which will be held this Saturday, August 11th.
The MusicFest promises something for everyone with local performers and well known stage names.
The Integrity Players will open the show with a performance from 4:00 to 4:20 p.m.
The Voo-Doo Doctors, a classic rock band, will play two time slots, from 4:30 to 5 p.m. and also from 8:55 to 10:00 p.m.
Glenbrooke Chicorack, an 18 year-old who writes her own music, will take the stage from 5:10 to 5:45 p.m.
Black River Bluegrass Boys will storm the stage with their mandolins, banjos and upright bass from 6:05 to 6:50 p.m.
Cliff Erickson is the star of the show, according to Al Langolf of Marysville who assembled the musical talent.
Langolf, who fronts the Voo-Doo Doctors, a well known area band, said that Erickson has opened for the former Beatle, Ringo Starr, and was recently hired by Kid Rock to perform for his birthday party.
Erickson plays a wide range of original music and covers and will take the stage from 7:00 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
The Wonderdogs perform their wailing blues music from 7:50 to 8:40.
The Voo-Doo Doctors will close the show with a special performance of cover music from the 50's, 60's and 70's. "You can expect tunes from bands like Grand Funk Railroad, Jimmy Buffet, Lynard Skinnard, Jimi Hendrix, Carl Perkins and the Beatles," said Langolf.
Lynn Vinson, Executive Director of Integrity Clubhouse said this week that she is very grateful of the help of Al Langolf and the involvement of the other performers. "I think it's going to be the best MusicFest yet," she said. "We've got some great bands, I know people will really enjoy out line up."
Food Vendors will also be available during the entire event for pop, pizza, pretzels, hotdog's and more goodies.
The Integrity Clubhouse is located in the former Yale American Legion building at 516 North Street in Yale.
